Default Destroyer Gaunlets....which armors does it work with?

I just wanted to know what armors Destroyer Gaunlets actually fit with, because I've seen a few Warriors with FoW and DG...it looks plain retarded.

I noticed on most ele armor's that the sleeve from the body robe goes farther than the elbow so it might work out nicely...

Does anyone know if Destroyer gaunlets work with ele armor, or any other armor?

It stops and leaves a gap between the gauntlet and the robes on most of them, including Ancient Robes. That's the only reason I'm not getting them.

I imagion they'd work with most female armours since the chest peice doesn't really connect to the arm peice. Most are just slip-on gloves.

But guys? I have no idea. I don't play guy toons very often. D:

I've see the chaos gloves on a female toon (Ele or Mesmer, not sure which) and the long sleeves of the chest piece went over the top of the gloves and just left the hands of the chaos gloves showing, so it looked quite neat. I imagine that the destroyer version would behave in the same way.
I was thinking of getting the destroyer gauntlets for my Ranger to go with his primeval armor but having seen them on other characters I strongly suspect they would leave a band of bare skin and not join up very well with the chest piece, confirmation anyone?.

Ranger Rog you must've seen a mesmer. I saw a FEMALE Ele with fow and destroyer and there was a little bit of skin (compared to the HUGE lot of skin ele's like to show)

I used them with a black assassin canthan guise. Since the guise is a vest style and leaves the whole arm bare it works very well - the whole glove shows and it doesn't look like an accident that some skin is showing as well.

I use Ancient Armor with them on my Warrior and it doesn't look that bad, mostly due to the fact that the chest for it has short sleeves, so you don't get the ridiculous look of armor ending at the elbow.

Ever seen the screenshot before GW:EN came out of the lady dervish with the dread mask and destroyer gauntlets? thats a great combo o.o

I think the chaos/glacial/destroyer gauntlet things would look great on dervishes, though I am trying to save for glacial right now ^.^ Since dervishes wear "gloves" and the gauntlets are not really gaudy. I suspect a lady dervish in black sunspear leggings and such with these would look really keen o.O and I play guy toons.

Female Monk DWARVEN (not even a freaking set) dyed black looks fairly nice with destroyer gauntlets.

Your elementalist looks almost exactly like mine. Except my ancient robes are black and I don't have the stubble. Or is that just shadow...? But yeah, if it covered up the small skin in that picture on the arms, then I'd get it. I don't really like it as it is. Thanks for the pic, though.

Hmmm.....I'm thinking they would look good with most para amors. Para armors usually leave the full arm bare so it would not look out of place plus the "demonic" look to the gauntlets would give an interesting contrast to the "angelic" look of the paragon. Anyone got a pic of a paragon with the gauntlets in the middle of a chant with the wings showing? That could be a neat look.

I think it's just best to pay attention to the coolness of the gauntlets themselves. I'd probably get to irritated trying too get them to match with anything.
